Travels

Design is how I think during the day — traveling is how I switch off. This is a running trail of the places I've wandered, logged one trip at a time.

Kashmir

Three days chasing snowlines and cloud-wrapped valleys — pine forests, glacier-fed rivers, and villages that only really wake up once the morning mist burns off.

Morning mist lifting off the valley, tree line and rooftops just visible below the peaks.

Hunza & Skardu

Eight days through the Karakoram — glacial rivers the color of concrete, a swaying suspension bridge, cold desert flats outside Skardu, and lakes so still they double the mountains around them.

Paddle boats pulled up on a glacial lake, water gone impossibly blue.

Galiyat & PC Bhurban

A weekend in the Galiyat hills — pine forests, a 19th-century tunnel cut into the ridge, and manicured gardens at PC Bhurban just as the blossoms were opening.
